What a great signing! My thanks to Cynthia and the friendly, knowledgeable staff at this most excellent bookstore. Vero Beach is fortunate to have this well-stocked and well-run store. They had to bring out extra chairs to accommodate the crowd which was made even larger by a great turnout from the local chapters of Romance Writers of America. Got to see my writer friend, Debbie Macomber (her latest book is CHANGING HABITS) and met a lot of wonderful folks from the chapters. There is a sizeable percentage of published authors and soon-to-be published authors in this high-energy group. After the store event they treated me to a potluck. It was the first homecooking I've had in days and nothing has tasted so good in a long time!
This evening back in the hotel room I sit on my balcony with a glass of wine and savor the glorious breezes off the ocean. I do love Florida!
