More long distance records were set tonight with folks reporting drives of up to six hours to get books signed! I want to thank all of the people who made the trip to this delightful Waldenbooks store. And thanks to the gracious store staff, also. You made me feel very welcome. There will always be a soft spot in my writer's heart for Waldenbooks. They supported me when I started out writing romance and they continue to support me now as I move into suspense. For those of you in the Lexington area looking for a reader-friendly store, this is it!

Lexington, of course, is horse country. I was one of those girls who had a passion for horses. We couldn't afford a real one so I invested heavily in little horse statues and read every single book about the Black Stallion and his relatives and associates that Walter Farley ever wrote. It is always a treat to drive by the beautiful horse farms here in Lexington and look at the beautiful beasts grazing in the pastures.

It is way cold tonight but Florida and some palm trees are coming up tomorrow.
