Thanks to Doug, Leslie and Dottie for a terrific signing. What a great store you guys are running there! Two floors of books. Who could ask for more? Great crowd, great questions. Last night's audience included some aspiring writers, so we chatted a bit about how to sell that first book. I reminded them it took me six years. Told them not to make the same mistakes. Told them that the best advice I could give at the moment was to join Romance Writers of America. That useful organization could save them from having to learn a lot of stuff the hard way, which is how I had to learn it.

This was a really special stop on the tour because I got to meet up with Cissy Hartley, owner of Writerspace.com, webmaster who handles this website and dozens and dozens more. This morning, hit the breakfast buffet, dined lavishly on grits and biscuits. This is Bama, after all.
