Sabrina McAllaster, a beautiful librarian, has everything in her
life under control. Enter Jake Devlin, a darkly handsome man, who will be
her bodyguard. Jake has been hired by Sabrina's mother to keep her safe for
the next two weeks. Sabrina is not happy about this because she is going on
a long awaited vacation and doesn't want Jake along. Though neither is happy
with the circumstances, they realize they are stuck with each for the
duration and try to make the best of the difficult situation.
Jake believes this assignment will be easy as long as he doesn't let it get
personal. But one night after Jake struggles with his problem, Sabrina fixes
him a "sure cure" for his troubles. After that Jake knows he wants Sabrina
and that he has been waiting for her all his life. He thinks of her like a
butterfly fluttering around and he is the guy who will catch her in his net.
Sabrina struggles with her attraction to the dark and quiet man who is her
bodyguard.
Jake will protect Sabrina, but who will protect her from her bodyguard?
An excellent story with an attempted kidnapping, and a romantic setting for
love. Jake and Sabrina have been looking for something that is missing in
their lives. They find that something in each other. A great read and one
that I kept on my shelf.
