The first meeting between Guinevere Jones and The Frog (Zachariah
Justis) sets the tone for the rest of the book. You actually get two
stories: What happened before Guinevere met Zach and how he uses what
happened to get her to cooperate with him.
Guinevere is drawn to Zach, but he is not exactly the man of her dreams.
His method of getting her cooperation leaves her with only one revenge, she
eats her way through his expense account.
Not only does Guinevere have to deal with Zach but she has has to deal with
a sister that has emotional problems. Now a murder and an attempt on
Guinevere's life draws Guinevere and Zach closer together.
